They were very encouraging to kids that were struggling to go on the zip lines. The staff was fantastic! Very helpful and knowledgeable. They are not required and can be purchased onsite but I found them helpful at times. I'd also recommend bringing some gardening type gloves with you. I would recommend bringing some bug spray as there were lots of bugs/mosquitoes. They got us geared up and then, after a short demonstration, we were ready for the fun! We did 4 of the 5 courses as one was closed for maintenance. We brought a small cooler with some snacks and drinks and were glad we did because we exerted some energy. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful guy. I spent 3 hours at Koteewi with a couple of 13 year olds on Saturday and we had a blast! The weather was absolutely perfect.
